TRANSFER STATION OPEN THIS SATURDAY
The Transfer Station will be open Saturday, November 28th, the Saturday following Thanksgiving.  Beginning on December 5th, the winter schedule will start.  The Transfer Station will be open on the first and third Saturday of each month December through March.  Please note, they accept checks only; no cash or credit cards.

TAX RATE SET BY DRA
The 2020 tax rate has been set by the Department of Revenue Administration.  Tax bills are being sent out to residents today with a due date of December 28.  The overall tax rate has been set at $18.95, a 32 cent increase over last year.  This year's municipal rate of $3.09; a 21 cent decrease from last year's municipal rate.  We thank everyone for their patience with the timing of tax bills this year, which has been impacted by several factors stemming from interruptions related to the pandemic.

HOW TO PAY TAX BILLS DURING THE PANDEMIC
We ask that residents consider the various options for paying tax bills that don't require a visit to the Town Offices.  Reminders of these options are provided below in the interest of keeping you and our staff as safe as possible during the pandemic.

  1. You can pay by mail and a receipt will be mailed back to you - send payment (with tear-off coupon portion) to 10 Bunker Hill Avenue Stratham, NH 03885
  2. You can drop off your tax payment (with tear-off coupon portion) in the drop box.  You will be sent a receipt.
  3. You can pay online with Automated Clearing House (ACH) or your credit card.   ACH will charge a $1.50 for each property and a $.95 processing fee.  Credit cards will be charged $1.50 for each property and a 2.79% processing fee based on the amount of your tax bill.
